So, to summarise. The next generation of men are a problem because of Ronald Reagan’a election in the 1980:. The Democratic left have had 40 something years to come up with a cogent message, and arguably managed it between 2008 - 2016. Then pivoted into talking primarily about identity and instead of building a broad church of support, turned it into a circular firing squad pitting women against men, whites against everyone else and now are wondering where it all went wrong.

I’m sure there are people you can’t reach because there are people who are absolute asshats. The US is full of racist bigots. It’s also full of anti-racist bigots. This recent election was a battle for the centre ground moderates and they have rejected the left - for all the reasons I’ve outlined for the last four years. Your answer to that is…. The Penguin is a bigot. I have no idea what else to do with people caught in the identity paradigm of politics other than point out it isn’t working.
