Sorry, that's badly written. "I don't care what you do in your bedroom" has to apply both ways. It needs to apply to people who want to explore the many different various sexualities avaialble - but also has to apply to people who want to sit in there and mutter racist things to themselves and their friends. The private sphere should remain private and unjudged. Policing what people can and should do based on your own morality is where classic liberalism and woke digress. Classic liberals don't have a problem with people holding awful unpleasant thoughts as long as they don't break the law. Woke looks for evidence to prosecute based on offence. I think that was the point I was making in a somewhat cack handed way.
