Stoicism is an excellent response for the universe at large and very much at the core of how I've been thinking for the last couple of years. I wrote this article a long time ago (in my mind at least) so it doesn't pop up very often these days.

It doesn't matter too much if you're fooled by the first half of the article - the idea isn't to fool people necessarily. That style of writing is such a prevalent force online that it passes without question. So many people write from such a place of anger that it can become difficult to differentiate good ideas from just angry noise. I don't find emotions all that useful a place to write from.
