Survivors don't want this kind of attention....

Sells story to TMZ. Arranges clandestine photograph of TRO being taken out. Gets a neutral 'no fault' statement as a result of the divorce. Goes on TV to tell everyone she has donated all her money to charity (but hasn't). Follows it up with a thinly veiled op-ed. Gets nailed to the wall in a court of law because her story lacks substantial evidence and is self contradictory. Loses on all three counts even thought the standard of actual malice was considered a huge legal hurdle. Goes on TV to give interviews about how she was wronged.

"Survivors of abuse know what it's like to be with someone who believes that: someone who tells them they'll never get out."

I'll just leave this here.

"Tell the world Johnny, "I Johnny depp, a man, am also a victim of domestic abuse" and let's see how a judge and jury believes you."

He did. And they did. For good reason. Watch the trial - because it feels after reading this article that you didn't.
