That comment also applies to Stalin and most dictators through history. She’s intelligent certainly, but I’m not sure that transfers across to insight; the latter being able to appreciate those who don’t toe the ideological line. The men might be deluded, they might be right. Real insight would be the ability to hold both positions to be potentially true - then seek out evidence for both.
The HR knows my thoughts, and I do have something of a soft spot for her, built up over the years. She reads widely and doesn’t impulsively block where many others have done. We get into it every so often, but her obvious dislike for men (which I suspect is very warranted) is an excellent indicator of how appealing a piece is to the feminism echo chamber.
