That is somewhat the point though - Depp repeatedly runs away and doesn't engage in conversations because he doesn't want to engage in altercations. It's a difficult case to make that the same person who is consistently disengaging from confrontation is a) also the perpetrator of violence and b) leading the relationship dynamic. JD may be a violently abusive monster - but why would you then goad him? It's these sorts of questions that Heard failed to answer. Much of your questioning of the case seems to be around things that weren't said or that the people who gave evidence must've been lying - that's not how the adversarial court system works. Heard needed to prove her claims, she failed to do so. She proved he was drunk/drugged/unpleasant but she failed to prove he was abusive (though I think he likely did hit her) despite having multiple recordings and numerous photos.

And yes, it's very sad that they spoke of their love and passion... but that's not how it works for Heard and Depp. They're a complicated couple and the return repeat and explode pattern is concordant with BPD and addicts. Do I think love was in place.... no, not really. I think he was addicted to her and I think she needed his supply (and that of her friends). People with BPD are rarely able to keep and sustain relationships over long periods of time.
