That wasn't what I was responding to. The OP said there was no female equivalent of Joseph Swetnam, I disagreed. Valerie Solanas is the historical equivalent of Joseph Swetnam, possibly even worse because I'm pretty sure Swetnam (despite being an excellent swordsman) didn't attempt to kill anyone.

I didn't mention anything about any other men or wider society and studied philosophers - it wasn't pertinent to the comment at hand.
