That would be a fair assessment of my experience of anti-racism. It has mostly been white faux-liberals lecturing others and virtue signalling. However, that may be quite specific to the U.K. where there has been a lot of jumping on the US bandwagon as though the countries have an identical history with racism, which they don’t.

What little anti-racism I’ve seen on this platform has largely fallen into two categories. More of the same self-flaggelation by white folks eager to please and angry heavily monetised BIPOC writers who declare everything to be racist, everyone to be ignorant and who don’t want to engage or educate. There are very few genuinely anti-racist practices happening in the activist space.

Although I am satirical at times and this does have a tone of humour, I think it’s a real problem. Conversations about racism and how to tackle it meaningfully are getting lost in a maelstrom of voices adding little to the discourse. Thanks for reading and giving my writing a go, even if it’s not to your taste. :o)
