But I can tell you from a decade of teaching, the age at which kids are wearing makeup and concerned about their looks has been steadily dropping down. When I began teaching, the age at which most (but not all) girls started to get interested in makeup and being attractive to boys was around year 9. Now it is around year 6 or 7. Social media is having an influence.
