That's the worrying thing about monetising content. If you write what's popular, then you're going to be saying the blandest things. I don't mind debating with Tim, he's a nice guy - but he does peddle the anti-racism very hard. He's got books and everything - but at least he does come out and defend his position. Plenty of writers on this site will just write something they know will amp up their base and then fuck off to the next article.
I think I'm brewing an article which looks at the religious fundamentalism of both the right and the left. They are equally dogmatic in their approach and cannot imagine a world where dissent ever happens. If they do get any, they almost always revert back to faith arguments. It's problematic.
