The Billy G rule is absolutely ridiculous and should’ve been thrown in the bin a long time ago as the female-excluding heap of rhetorical horse-shit it is. Unfortunately, arguments for safe space legitimise it. There’s always a back door inversion of an argument that people fail to take into account.

If you argue sexuality is a choice you’re also allowing a backdoor argument for conversion therapy. If you argue that everything is racist, you leave the field wide open for benevolent complacency… because what’s the point? Every argument has a drawback that is rarely considered by angry people.
