The real left still do - the economic arguments haven't been dropped universally and replaced with identarian nonsense, but it's tearing the left wing apart entirely. I have less time for the synthetic left than I do for compassionate right wing - at least they stand for something, they don't flip and change with whatever direction the wind is blowing.
