The Trumps are truly awful — and theoretically the equivalent of your Kings and Queens if you’re an American. Back in the Ye Olde days, the ancestors of the Winsdsor lineage were just the Trumps of their day. Same few families passing power and privillege back and forth with friends and family. Spencers, Stewarts, Churchills, Grosvenors and Percy’s. They crop up regularly in the shady deals of yester-year. Give Trump a chance though, and he’ll do his best to become the first Augustus of America, Emperor of the Western Lands.

And Meghan Markle being a person of colour gives the whole instituiton a whiff of being progressive, whilst not being the slightest bit forward thinking at all. Thanks for your comment and continuing the discussion.
