The US is a big place and i'm not suggesting it isn't... but I presume that centralised companies exist there. If you order something from Amazon Prime, I presume it will arrive the next day? I'm not saying it's not difficult, I'm saying it's not impossible with enough financial support and enough political and charitable will.

The map of states likely to make abortion illegal are punctuated with the occasional state that plans no such thing. I think services need to be available on the borders wherever possible... and i don't think it's a case of democrats dropping avocado and toast - I think it's a case of having a well publicised and centrally controlled service, hosted legally, advertised legally and with all the backing of every pro-life person in the US. I think if you as much as type 'worried i'm pregnant' into google, you should automatically get targeted pro-choice information.

I don't mean to be dismissive, as much as it sounds that way. It's an acknowledgement that the technological landscape has shifted since 1973. This is a huge step backwards (in my opinion) but a big part of that step backwards can be mitigated by careful organisation and well funded campaigns. That wasn't available in 1973 and the stories stemming from that time are horrific - we can and should do better. :o)
