The whole case has highlighted how profoundly stupid the general public are. The same people who came out swinging at Johnny Depp on a single op-ed written by one woman on her account of their private relationship threw the principles of feminism in the bin. There as no due process for Depp, he was hounded out of his jobs and public life on unsubstantiated opinion, misandry disguised as feminism.

The same people are now doing the same to Amber Heard based on misogyny. We have the courts to resolve this and the constant machinations of the Dunning Kruger majority are both unwelcome and shortsighted.

And I do think it’s possible for neither of them to be lying - but to understand why a personality disorder might make someone tell ‘the truth’ but it not match with objective reality is a level of nuance and consideration most people either can’t or are too lazy to muster. It’s become trial by idiot.
