The writing cooperative charges?!?! I wrote some articles for them a few years ago but I haven't done so for a long time. I suppose that's to pay their editors?

Medium does need to find a way to filter out the spam content and the plagiarism. I'm not sure what the best way is for them - it's a difficult model and they keep faffing around and changing the algorithm. Every change throws up new problems - I guess it's just a process of getting it right.

I've mitigated against my own frustrations by never getting involved in editing anything. I arrive, I write, I comment, I publish and I go. :o)
