Then in your article there's an a-priori assumption the gender binary is inherently bad? I'm not convinced we can ascribe malevolence to any behaviours that reinforce the gender binary because there is a pre-decision the gender binary is inherently bad - I think the jury may still be out on that one.

It's certainly bad for some people.... but that's not the same as toxic per se.
