Theoretically, but only if membership were a one-off fee, which it isn’t. Anyone can join and pay and simply read here and then cancel their membership..

If you want to write and earn then you can do exactly that, but making money here is dependent on you both writing well and further engaging with your audience regularly. That takes time to establish.

The previous model of bringing in punters and being paid a share of their monthly fee was more of a pyramid scheme. It led to mass recruitment, terrible money centred articles and a fluctuating population all trying to secure new customers to a platform that only talked about how to get new customers.

I hated it. I didn’t partake. That was a pyramid scheme and it’s (thankfully) gone in the bin. :o)
