Therapists don’t generally call people out on their shit… it’s a good way to become unemployed, particularly when people have personality disorders. Call yourself out on your own shit in front of them and see what they do. Tbf to you, we’ve disagreed vehemently in the past, I call you out (when I think you’re wrong) and you’ve never blocked me and we’ve maintained a decent frenemy status over the years, so there is a good level of resilience there - and if you have taken it personally then you’ve rationalised yourself out of that hole.
So call yourself out on your own shit. You got that skill I reckon. Alternatively, look at where you’re getting pushback in your life - then think about why you’re reacting the way you do. Be objective. That’s pretty much it. For most of human history people didn’t have access to therapists and muddled through.. I’m not sure it helps in all cases and you might be one of those cases.. :o)
