There are a lot of angry progressive voices on Medium, heavy on the rhetoric and light on the thinking behind it. I've come out politically neutral on Israel/Gaza a number of times because it's so complicated that you shouldn't just throw hero and villain monikers over everything. This appeal to complication is generally seen to be pro-genocide, which is 100% not what I say, but is a very good place to start building a strawman argument.
