There are plenty of pedantic reader-editors who will pick up the odd spelling mistake of wayward word after the fact– but I’m completely blind to my poor structuring. That’s where it’s really invaluable.
I’ve found it to be a very useful way to work and pulled me out of a slump – I’m getting so much time back, that my output and output quality have both gone up. I reckon giving my significant other 20% will pay for itself within two months.
Maintaining quality and quantity on your own is quite difficult but both are necessary for growth in any meaningful way I think. I’ve outsourced about 75% of quality control – I still do the final publishing and tags and all that jazz the but I may hand all that over in the fullness of time – we’ve agreed to give it two months and review. So far it’s been great. :o)
