There are some left-wing violent activists, but not many…. Though it is worth noting the left does have its fair share of despotic military regimes - the Kim Family, although a hereditary monarchy by current design, does have its roots in communism, as does the Chinese state and the Russian oligarchy. The left just as easily gives way to tyranny as the right - and both deserve to be watched as carefully as the other.
