These are huge generalisations you've made - I think I can prove that not all police officers are dangerous bigots quicker than you can prove what ALL black people think.

Similarly, whilst there is a high incidence of sexual abuse perpetrated on women - I'd argue (perhaps controversially) that this is done by a statistical minority of men.

I agree that real racists and rapists should 100% be brought to account. I don't think the way to do that is assume everyone in the universe is guilty of both through confirmation bias and badly thought through arguments. I'd argue that such an approach is likely counter productive to the stated aims and will lead to increasing levels of groupthink and a dillution of the important issues.

Maybe that's why you can read articles about how Bridgerton is racist - and how regretting sleeping with your boss is now akin to being raped. Both articles I've read on this platform. In order for progress to be made, we have to have a shared reality which we can agree with - that's one that has to be based in objectivity, rather than the subjective and contradictory experiences of individuals.
