They’re still well thought out and perceptive when you disagree with them too. The issue here isn’t that Putin is right or should be endorsed… it’s requesting that people get a wider understanding of the whole situation rather than simply accepting information prima facie.

My wider concern is that the right wing will coalesce around ideological and armed militia groups after this war ceases. The Russians are unlikely to win, but the political situation has caused an absolute boatload of weaponry to flow into Ukraine. Whilst the war is ongoing and everyone has a ‘goodie vs baddie’ narrative, this is fine…. But I think it’s a little short-sighted. We’ve been here with ISIS, I think we may go full circle into a white supremacy movement - and I see no reason not to talk about that because it makes others feel like I’ve taken the ‘wrong side’ - the only right side in any war is the side of long term peace.
