This is an excellent article — and I’d love to see this sort of thing in the Medium publications all the time. An actual thought through analysis of the problems that have been created. Far too much airtime and reward is being given to fanning the flames of demagoguery on the left — and Medium often fails to curate more useful, nuanced, centre ground articles — of which this is one.

I suspect that you and I disagree on how the world can be changed and the best way of accomplishing that change — but I do hope our paths cross on Medium and we can debate the finer points.
