This is an excellent article and it sounds like you're oon your way to a happier state of being. Totally down for that. Where I think there's room for pushback and discussion is the problematic trend for binary thinking within both cis and trans people.
I sometimes get labelled as 'transphobic' for taking a 'woah woah woah we need to think more carefully about this' or even taking a liberal balance viewpoint of two societal groups. There are plenty of hateful trolls out there and it sounds like you've had a few run ins with some absolute ass hats. However the LGBT2SQIA+ communities often operate within an echo chamber where the absence of unequivocal support at all costs becomes a binary position. You're either with us or you're a 'phobe' regardless of the issue.
You can see my fairly lengthy exchange with James Finn for more on this.... https://medium.com/lucid-nightmare/whack-a-woke-james-finn-special-86d6cb79aa11
It is excellent that you have found a community that offers you safety and love. I think this is brilliant and yours is exactly the sort of trans story I enjoy reading for that very reason. It makes me happy that the world is moving in the right direction (albeit slower than many of us would like) I would also say that the LGBTQ2QIA+ community also has it's fair share of trolls, narcissists and sociopaths - people who may not be immediately obvious to those behind the same side of the rainbow wall.
Keep on keeping on KP. :o)
