This is an interesting article and the portrayal of men is somewhat problematic in the comedy sphere. I think writers do better in dramas - but fatherhood is one of those things that it's easy to poke at for cheap laughs. I think one of the best plays ever written is 'Death of a Salesman', it's almost 70 years old now, but it's still an interesting insight into capitalism and the idea of men as providers plus the toll it takes on human psychology. Great article and plenty to think about. :o)
