This is the point where you lost me - apart from the bit where you advise everyone to keep using twitter. I came off the bastard thing in 2018, so I haven't got a flipper in the game...... but one of the reasons I came off was because Twitter (and other social media) had become painfully aligned with Governments across the world. That's somewhat dangerous.
Here's a chilling thought. What do you think the Nazis could've done with Facebook? Now... if you're happy that your Government isn't the Nazis, then great - continue to feed the beast. If you're not convinced they might not go that way in the fullness of time - I'd recommend bowing out early or putting pressure on the separation of social media and Government interests.
We should be rightfully concerned if any Government tells any newspapers what it should or shouldn't print - and we should be doubly concerned if any Government decides what the general public can and can't read/hear via algorithm.... particularly because that entire process is hidden from us. You either believe in freedom of speech for everyone, or you don't believe in it. That's how it works.
I have my own thoughts on Musk, I think he's the closest thing we've got to a Bond villain...but I don't think he's wrong on this one. I can imagine a lot of left-leaning faux-liberal content creators are shitting themselves though, social media has been one big circle jerk for a long time..... and I think the gravy train may be coming to a sudden siding. It happened on Medium around this time last year - and we haven't been overrun with fascists..... what happened is some of our most vociferously underinformed and loudest writers fucked off for pastures new with their noses out of joint - and made space for indie writers who could think their way out of a paper bag.
It was the best of times.
