This is true, but it is a concept that underpins capitalism. If we aren’t being productive, what are we doing? There’s a real argument for spending a lot less time doing things, and spending a lot more time appreciating things. Family, friends, art, and writing.

I know your comment is addressing my somewhat hyperbolas description of productivity as we experience it on Medium, but I do think we should all spend a lot less time ‘working’. Thanks for your comment and have a lovely rest of the day :o)
