This made me lol. Agree with everything you've written here - there's great money to be made with outrage though. People depend on Kanye as part of their condemnation for cash scheme. The same was true of Trump when I first began here.... if he so much as whispered a little bit of nonsense, someone would take it, amplify it beyond all reason simply to tear it down.

If people are mentally unwell, and Kanye seems to be perpetually on the cusp of some sort of ill-defined narcissistic unreality bubble buoying up a fragile sense of self..... just leave it be. Should never have been given the spotlight in the first place - and needs therapy and/or sectioning rather than a microphone and an audience tacitly willing for controversy.
