We both go back a long time in the Medium world and have clashed numerous times in the past. I suspect I’ve earned the out of character discussion by simple longevity.

Truth be told, I have a soft spot for her. Despite her unmitigated rage at every man in the universe she doesn’t block and she comes back again and again to make her case - there’s a willingness there to remain engaged that some others lack. It’s very easy to stay in an echo chamber and yet she doesn’t always do that. That’s admirable and not to be easily dismissed in the modern digital age.

I suspect she has very good reason to be as distrustful of all things male as she is. Many women do. But she’s still here and I’m still not blocked (despite her rage and my persistence). I don’t think men should take it personally, Penguins certainly try not to - and I remain hopeful she’ll be reached and brought into the discussions in the fullness of time.
