We did so much sightseeing! We went around Margaret Island, we went to Buda Castle, to a nuclear bunker under Buda Castle, took a night boat river cruise, we had a day in the baths, a night out in the ruin bars and took trams and bendy busses everywhere. The SOP is gluten free and vegetarian, so we got outside of the tourist traps to find amazing places to eat. One of the best holidays I've had in many years - drawing a line under lockdown and was delighted to let the SOP rub Hungary off my scratch map of the world.

Alas, not much in the way of wildlife though - only the humans at the bath and a small petting zoo on Margaret island.... and a young Hungarian couple sat by us at an Italian restaurant with their adorable rescue dog.... she had issues but the SOP and I are both dog people. :o)
