We have the National Health Service - but our current Government is doing their best to move to the US model. It's terrifying. I was struck last time I visited the US how many people were walking around with obvious signs of unmedicated mental health conditions. That was in NYC, where I was told the problem wasn't too bad comparatively with other places. For a country which prides itself on being in the first world, the US is surprisingly backwards and third world-y on Healthcare and mental health specifically.
