When you talk about ‘white people’, do you mean the snow-skinned ginger headed celts, the olive skinned Mediterranean Spaniards and Italians, the blonde Norsemen, the dark Slavic folks, the hugely tall Dutch, stout Prussians or the gammon colour of the english aristocracy? Or were you just generalising in a sort of lazy (yet some might say racist) way. Don’t worry, I’m not going to put you on trial - but it’s still an interesting oversight people make about those pesky whites. It seems to be more of a semantic catch all for people we don’t approve of than a real portrayal of skin colour.
