Why would it be creepy to see a man as a nursery assistant? You can’t on the one hand decry an unequal wage and then reinforce gender segregation in the workplace on spurious grounds of creepiness. There might be a reason men don’t go into nursery work and perhaps it might not all be to do with the wages…
