Why would you presume that the reverse is progressive kindness? I don't understand the logic. If someone runs a LGBTQ+ only event and decides to exclude heterosexuals from the event, and/or offer discounts, how does this in any way differ from what you have outlined? You can't on the one hand call for tolerance and compassion as though the world is falling apart - but then call everyone who doesn't vote your way a blundering fuckwit for six months.

Your analysis of fear, pridefulness, stubbornness, and racist bigoted views cuts both ways when viewed objectively. If you presume 'racism' to be 'the desire to treat people differently based on the colour of their skin' then anti-racism and racism are two-sides of the same coin. However, the pride, fear, and stubbornness of the left is getting in the way of admitting identity politics is a failed strategy.

Here's me attempting to explain to an identity obsessed leftie why the Democrats will continue to lose if they double down into rhetoric like this. https://medium.com/lucid-nightmare/deconstructing-an-identity-leftist-letter-of-complaint-8925409750c1
