Woke has been appropriated outside of AAVE and now pretty much exists for any half-baked faux-liberal solution white folks wanting a pat on the back come up with it. You're talking a fun race war game for someone who isn't Black - you're going to get a lot of folks shot, or at least shot at.

Reparations in the form of mandating equality is a handout, reparations in the form of community centres, free nursery places, better police provision in areas that need it, better social work programmes, scholarships for academic merit rather than sporting prowess.

You're making an equality argument rather than an equity one and that will lead primarily to societal discord... it's happening now. That discord will result in what feels like racial progress but remains merely an endangerment of non-white folks. I don't think White folks are trembling in fear, I think they're stoking the base and continuing edicts from the trenches of underinformed but overconfident white-woke is helping them do it.
