Yeah, I guess that’s the point. It’s not towards the stated mission, but often it pretends to be. That’s the point. There’s no harm in either sex getting together to talk about things unique to them…. But, and it’s a big but, the tone and content of those conversations need to be watched very carefully…. I have huge concerns about young men getting together to talk through Tate’s ideas, they often lack the critical thinking to realise how toxic they are (even though that toxicity is overt) because it appeals too much. I think the same thing about groups of women, but I think the toxicity is more covert. It’s harder to spot. The internet is radicalising both sexes, in different ways and we must always check the veracity of what is being stated. Monetisation is a big part of that problem.
