Yeah? That makes this article from March 2021 a little awkward then doesn't it? https://medium.com/p/29d7b532b6bd

Could it be that you hold a simplistic view of the world where anyone who disagrees with you is a 'baddie' and therefore 'racist' and anyone who says exactly what you agree with is on the right side of history and a supporter of the cause? I don't go around policing language, people can write what they like - what I generally do is go around and politely point out when people can't think their way out of a paper bag.

As the above article should demonstrate even with a cursory reading, I've been a republican (British version) since I was a kid. And I've done so on anti-racism grounds - I'm sure there were plenty of people who whooped and cheered when Meghan joined the firm. I was not one of them. If you're going to ride the tiger, you always have to make sure it can't turn around and bite you. You cannot have a monarchy and believe in anti-racism, the two ideas are philosophically contradictory - but not every anti-racist has great ideas. You and I agree that racism should be a thing of the past, we just have different methodologies for getting there.

You said you welcome critique of your writing - fine, the world is not a cartoon. The world is not a simple place. Not everyone who doesn't agree with you is racist. Not everyone who agrees with you isn't. You don't write about the complexity of race issues, you write your very strong feelings about race into an echo chamber. Perhaps dig a little deeper into my writing, then debate me don't insult me.

My views on the royals have been very well established for a long time. Here's that link again. https://medium.com/p/29d7b532b6bd
