Yes, but this isn't victim blaming. My main point was as follows 'if homophobic racist white men' are taught to think as individuals rather than encouraged to group together into PUA's MRAs and reactionary groups, then we stand a much better chance of deprogramming them.
The answer to how we do that is not by setting up opposition groupthink. The quote you have given shows this exactly. Men Who Hate Women - it automatically groups people by gender. People hate people, the best way to deprogrammed that hatred is to remove them from groups. The answer to how to do that cannot be found in the reinforcement of group identity.
It's not a problem that you're pushing back - I just don't think it's the best strategy for winning hearts and minds. If your perception of the world is 'victim' and 'oppressor' rather than 'complicated individuals' then I think that's part of the problem. That's not blame. I think that's a reasonable observation of the discourse of the last decade or so. Things aren't getting observably better as a result of this group identification as default. :o)
