You must be very careful not to stray into hyperbole even when you're making a strong case, as it leaves you open to accusations of bad faith. There are plenty of countries who took in Jews escaping the Nazis. This includes here in the UK, Portugal, Switzerland, Sweden, Mandatory Palestine, The Philippines, China, the Dominican Republic and Bolivia. Many other countries also accepted Jewish refugees only to be absorbed but the Nazis - and it's worth noting that even Fascist Italy did a little bit to protect the Jewish populations in countries where it had some military presence.
