Your assertion is bang on - and that I think is worthy of a whole other article. There are some conspiracy theories that do turn out to be true.... MK-ULTRA being a good example.

I think, as always, its about gradations of such things. We have to weigh up individual views on an individual basis - otherwise we end up in some sort of subjective nightmare where people can assert the moon is made of cottage cheese and the rest of us have to give it equal credence.

I'll put together a more balanced article about conspiracy theories - because I do find them as fascinating as the psychology that underpins them.

Keep holding me accountable for my flippancy. Someone has to! :o)
