You're right, it wouldn't have been appreciated. She wrote a follow up article after this one, in which she denounced all the people who argued with her as racists. It's fine, it's a sad and unhappy way to live your life - but I felt it was a good flag to stick in the ground to make a wider point. Mind reading is massively problematic.

You're only the second person to notice that Penguins don't live in the Arctic. Hehehehehehe. It's because the 'Arctic circle' is more widely known than the 'antarctic circle' - and so I picked that one instead.
