You're well aware I'm team Blue (though confusingly because I'm British, it's actually team Red over here) - but you're speaking a lot of common sense. I would've voted for Harris if I had the right to vote in the US election and not thought about it again - but I'm not happy with the left's direction of travel. They have long departed from their core aim of getting people to be better off - and have instead bowed down to a significant amount of infighting around the philosophical nature of justice and equality. Until the Democrats are able to reflect and move away from the progressive end of the party and back towards the Biden end, they're going to be stuck in the political wilderness. Our Red Team here in the UK have realised that, toned down talking about silly notions of equality and delivered a budget where taxes are being levied on the wealthy and spending is higher on public services.

I don't like Trump, never have, never will. I don't think he's a competent President but I think he's an excellent candidate. That doesn't bode well for democracy. We need to find methods of ensuring the highest quality candidates are elected to office, not those with the skillset to hack an electorate's psychology. We live in interesting times and my thoughts are here. https://medium.com/p/3071419dcebe
