You've definitely omitted all the twilight films and that's a travesty, I like my vampires to be pale, glittery and so bereft of character they could be played by a mannequin. I haven't seen a lot of these films and so I've got a few to catch up on - can't believe Buffy The Vampire Slayer didn't make it onto the list.... it did spawn a show which re-defined the genre.

And Anne Rice is one of the best writers I've ever read. Cruise, Pitt and Dunst do their best but Anne Rice isn't an author that translates well to screen; her prose is too rich and pictures don't cut it. It's not that it's a bad film, it's just a poor substitute for reading the book and everyone should read IWAV.

I need to get better at watching old films. Do you have an IMDB top-100 style Dillon list? Has that been an article I've missed. Can I have a spreadsheet?
