Do You Really Hate Men? Unpicking The Memoirs Of A Tired Feminist

There are important questions to be asked when one announces absolute hatred for half the world’s population — From what I can tell she’s a new writer, she’s got 52 followers, a background in financial writing and no aversion to telling the world her truth. No problems so far, the world needs more sassy writers prepared to say exactly what they say. It is a little tiresome the…

Are Cruise Ships The Answer To The European Refugee Crisis?

The Dutch seem to think so and despite a lot of pushback from the usual suspects, I think it's a viable solution worth exploring. — Put a group of right-wing British Deatheaters into a room and ask them to solve a problem like refugees and the emergent answer will likely be ‘send them to Rwanda’. …

The Person Behind The Penguin

Five things you’re allowed to know about my identity and four things you’re not. — What constitutes your identity? If society is determined that we play identity politics then this is a question I feel compelled to ask. Who gets to define the parameters of who I am. What’s their agenda and why does it matter? Here are five things I think I have defined…

You don’t have to respond — but there’s nothing to suggest I was talking about you specifically.

You don’t have to respond — but there’s nothing to suggest I was talking about you specifically. I think there are a bunch of idiots both sides of the debate and if you think the idiots are entirely and exclusively on the political right then you haven’t done enough analysis of where the discourse currently resides. And, there’s something a little disingenuous about disengaging after an insult like ‘screaming privilege into the wind’ you know we lefties get annoyed about assertions that we’re right wing.

The January 6th insurrection was right-wing idiots high on their own self-importance but it doesn’t take away from the totalitarian left. You can read this piece for more of an understanding between left wing liberalism and woke ideology and why I sit where I do. https://medium.com/p/dc04f4267b96

I didn’t say they were.

I didn’t say they were. What I’m saying is that there are women who disagree with you and there are complicated issues which need to be addressed. The issues of trans-women and women who have experienced sexual trauma are sometimes incompatible with each other and it requires you treading the middle ground rather than shouting at everyone who doesn’t agree. Here’s a more nuanced view from the sharp end of British politics. https://medium.com/p/2af13254adcb

I look forward to you campaigning for NAMBLA — surely an inclusive society must allow non-practicing paedophiles into its ranks? Ther’e’s a legitimate argument it is just a sexual preference after all. And as you’ve said when one rises, we all rise. And for what’s it’s worth, I think we should be having more nuanced conversations about this matter — but I don’t think the average social justice activist has the mental space for it.

Yes I do. I don’t like it — but I think that’s what they should be able to do. I outlined this in the article. In a liberal society you should be allowed to dissent and unless you want the state to be able to infringe upon parents rights, then…

JF isn’t trans….

JF isn’t trans…. but the arguments he were making were about trans-issues. I don’t have an identity because I don’t think it’s relevant to the argument at hand. Lived experience has validity, but it is not a get-out of jail free card to allow carte blanche irrational behaviour.

Still not right wing.

Still not right wing. But I’d argue there are idiotic ways to communicate your feelings that don’t align with the tolerant world you want to create.
